This week we’re catching up with Todd Henderson. Last year’s MT Class Champion has become known for his wild, destructive freestyle runs including breaking a body in half at the season opener, wheelies and backflips despite only having front-wheel drive in Round 3, and pulling off a double backflip that broke the wheel off and continued to go crazy ballooning the front tires until one completely shredded. He was the easy choice for this year’s “Crash Madness” award, here’s what he thought of his season.

What got you into R/C monster trucks?
I wanted to try something new. It’s been a fun, frustrating, stressful, exhilarating ride so far!
What was your biggest accomplishment this season?
This season has been full of mechanical setbacks, but blowing the tire off the rim in freestyle while on three wheels was definitely a highlight.
What are you looking to improve on next season?
Getting all the bugs worked out and reclaiming the top seat in the MT class.
What are your thoughts on how the points series went this year?
With all the COVID-19 pandemic, I think it actually went well.
What are you planning on running next season?
Same Warpath chassis, we’ll see what bodies adorn it next season.
