Now that the 2021 JConcepts Points Series has come to a close, we asked our racers what their thoughts were on how the season went and what their plans are for the off-season and next year. Our first installment features David Heimbigner who despite missing Round 4, finished in 4th place overall in both the 2.2 and MT classes and was the winner of the 2021 Crash Madness award.

What was your biggest accomplishment this season?
My Trifecta in round 2! Easily the coolest experience I’ve had on the track.
Who was your toughest competition this year?
Jeremy Bunting, he was sharp all year and always challenged me.
What are you trying to improve on this off-season?
Consistency and self control.
What are your thoughts on how the Points Series went this year?
It was super fun! Very well ran, with a lot of good competition. I love the growth
What trucks/classes are you planning to compete in next season?
I plan on continuing to run 1 Retro, but I’m hoping to have a new one completed by next year. A 2.2 mini monster running a Flyin’ Hawaiian body, and 2 2.6 monsters, Flyin’ Hawaiian, and TBD.
