The next Racer Recap features the 2021 Rookie of the Year: Ryler Powell. After watching one of our events last year, Ryler built a truck and came out to race all season and even ended up winning the freestyle competition at the exhibition event as part of the ASD Autism Awareness Crawl. Here are his thoughts on the season and his plans for next year.

Winning the ASD freestyle
Who was your toughest competition this year?
David Heimbigner, he has some fast trucks.
What are you trying to improve on this off-season?
My racing
What are your thoughts on how the Points Series went this year?
I thought it went awesome, it was nice to have some competition.
What trucks/classes are you planning to compete in next season?
I’ll have another truck in the 2.6 class, but the identity is still being decided on.
