We’re down to the final week of 2021 so we’ll keep the recaps coming. This time, it’s series newcomer Jack Meredith. While Jack was only able to make 3 of the 5 events, he proved to be competitive in both the Retro and 2.2 classes when he was on the track. Here are his thoughts on racing his first season and his plans for the future.
Name: Jack Meredith
How long have you been racing RC monster trucks?
This was my rookie season as a racer.

What was your biggest accomplishment for this season?
Only breaking any of my trucks once. Also placing second in each competition I partook in.
Who was your toughest competition this season?
Jeremy Bunting. Everyone knows he is public enemy number one at any event.

What are you trying to improve on this off-season?
Hoping to become more precise with my driving and fine tune my trucks, along with rolling over less.
What are your thoughts on how the Points Series went this year?
I think I placed pretty well despite missing two events. Show flow improved as the season went on and the tracks were fun to race on. For the other racers, maturity levels are low, repair costs are high.

What trucks/classes are you planning to compete in next season?
I’m going to get some new lids for my current trucks in the 2.2 and retro class. No plans for a 2.6 class truck yet.
