As we kick of the new year, there’s still some Racer Recaps to take care of including one of the up-and-coming young drivers in the series Kirk Noakes. After dabbling in some events in 2020, Kirk made it to all but one event in 2021 and showed great improvement in racing and filling the clock in freestyle (especially from donuts). He’ll be one to watch for in 2022!

Making improvements in freestyle and filling the clock at the North vs South race
Who was your toughest competition this year?
Everyone was pretty hard to beat, but the toughest competition for me was Jake and Wes.
What are you trying to improve on this off-season?
My control over the trucks.
What are your thoughts on how the Points Series went this year?
I had lots of fun, and feel I placed where I should have.
What trucks/classes are you planning to compete in next season?
Planning on running two 2.6s, two 2.2s, and my recently acquired Bigfoot retro!
