After missing out on the podium last season, David Heimbigner more than made up for it this year taking 2nd in the 2.2 Class and 3rd in both the Retro and 2.6 Class. Here’s David’s thoughts on how the 2022 season went and his plans for next year.

Right around 3 years now
What was your biggest accomplishment this season?
My biggest accomplishment of the 2022 season is having a podium finish in every class.
Who was your toughest competition this year?
There’s no way to narrow it down to one person. The talent continues to increase across the board so any day could be anyone’s day.
What did you think of the 2022 Points Series this year?
Every event got better as the season progressed. By the end of the year, the events were running super smooth. Tons of fun, and I love the continued growth.
What are you trying to improve this offseason?
Over the offseason, I will be working on staying consistent.
What classes do you plan on competing in next season?
I plan on running in as many classes as I can.
