2023 JConcepts Points Series Round 1 Information

After a long offseason of seemingly endless rain, it’s time to get outside and race again as the 2023 Nor Cal RC Monster Trucks Points Series powered by JConcepts officially kicks off Saturday, April 15th at Rescue Community Center RC Track! If this is your first time visiting Rescue Community Center RC Track this year, they have added a number of pit tables and chairs and are currently constructing shade covering, however plan on bringing your batteries fully charged as there is limited access to power close to the oval track. There is also construction materials and equipment between the dirt oval and 1/8 scale track, so please plan on parking in the main lot. Since this is the first event of the season, all competitors will need to fill out a 2023 Registration Form after having trucks tech inspected. Season Passes will be available for purchase to save money if you plan to attend all of the events this season.

In addition, the Bee Line Trucking 2.6 Class Podium Pool has returned to pay out the top 3 spots for the 2.6 Class this season. $250 has been put up as a starter fund to be split among the podium finishers and Bee Line Trucking will then match all contributions made through the 5 rounds and will be awarded out as follows: 50% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, and 20% to 3rd. To be eligible for the Podium Pot, racers can contribute $10/event or a flat $50 prior to round 4. This is entirely optional but will make for another exciting season!

Not only do the 2.2 Mini Monster and BlackMarket RC Retro classes return for another exciting season battling for the points series championship, this season kicks off the Brass Ring Fab Scale Spec Class which will be an exhibition class for the 2023 season featuring the most scale rigs in the series running full-caged trucks with 3800kv motors on 2S. We will also be debuting a Novice Class for 2023 allowing the more inexperienced drivers to get extra practice and race laps on the track prior to qualifying (minimum of 4 trucks required to have the class run).

Finally, JConcepts, AMain Hobbies, Protek RC, EcoPower, and more have provided the series with some great raffle prizes to give away at each of our races this season. Racers will receive a raffle ticket for every entry and may purchase additional tickets in sets of 3 for $5.
