Our Racer Recap series continues with one of the most consistent racers in the series this year: Brian Romo. Brian was able to podium in both classes he competed in and was runner up in the 2.2 class as well as third in the 2.6 class! Here are his thoughts on his first full season.
How many years have you been racing R/C Monster Trucks?
This is my first year racing Monster trucks. I raced 2 races the previous year and was hooked!
What was your biggest accomplishment this season?
My biggest accomplishments was placing on the podium in both classes and absolutely killing it on the last race of the season by winning both my classes
What did you think of the 2023 Points Series?
I absolutely loved the 2023 race season and a big hand to everyone that helped put it on
Who was your toughest competition this season?
My toughest competition this year was Jeremy Bunting because we were stuck on each other like Velcro
What are your plans this offseason?
I currently am moving and I plan on relaxing and getting ready for next season
What are your goals for next year?
My goal for next season is trying to win 2.2 class and improving my performance in both classes 2.2 and 2.6
