Our next Racer Recap features the 2023 Most Improved Driver in the series: Jordan Jensen! Jordan joined the series this year with his father coming down from Reno, NV to compete and he had a great inaugural season providing some awesome moments on the track in both racing and freestyle. Here are his thoughts on his debut season.
How many years have you been racing RC monster trucks? What other forms of RC do you enjoy? I’ve only ever raced monster trucks this year (2023) but i enjoy my crawlers, bashers, drag cars, minis and have raced in other disciplines like off-road 2wd and 4wd buggy / short course and even a little bit of oval racing.
What was your biggest accomplishment this season?
My biggest accomplishment in this first season was qualifying lower in the field at the shootout and finishing the bracket in the top 5!
What did you think of the 2023 Points Series?
I think this series is great and I’m really glad to have been a part of it!
Who was your toughest competition this year?
Jeremy was probably my toughest competition all season lol we had a few close ones
What are your plans for the off-season?
Plans for the off-season include working and probably some indoor off-road racing
What are your goals for next season?
Goal for next season is to make it to every event and hopefully come home with some actual trophies 🏆
