The 2023 Racer Recap series continues with another racer who joined the Points Series this season: P.J. Bruner (who as far as we know might be the only person to have a competitive RC4WD Carbon Assault chassis).
How many years have you been racing R/C Monster Trucks? What other forms of R/C do you enjoy?
3 months racing monster trucks. I’ve done 1/10 off road, on road electric and nitro touring car, 1/12 scale and 1/10 NPRC drag racing. Currently racing 1/10 electric touring car
What was your biggest accomplishment this season?
Biggest accomplishment was honestly just building a competitive truck with no practice time.
What did you think of the 2023 Points Series?
I enjoyed the points series, I’d like to see more races added in the future.
Who was your toughest competition this year?
My toughest competition was my own truck..lol struggled to keep it in one piece the first couple times out, but that’s racing and part of the learning process.
What are your plans for this offseason?
Off-season plans…there is no off season
What are your goals for next season? What classes do you plan on racing in?
Next season I plan to fine tune the Angry Mick and be a headache in the 2.6 class
