After 3 rounds of racing, the 2024 Nor Cal RC Monster Trucks JConcepts Points Series powered by Blackmarket RC, Bee Line Trucking, AMain Hobbies, EcoPower RC, Flyin’ Hawaiian RC, Insano Industries, Gens Ace, and Brass Ring Fab heads north to the all-new AMain Hobbies Outback Raceway Oval track on Saturday, July 20th! While it will definitely be warm out, the oval is completely covered which will make things a bit more tolerable, but please plan accordingly.
Gates open at 10:00 to set up your pit area. We will be pitting outside as the track has a pad to set up for tents and has power available. Since this is a new facility, they have asked that we do not drive on the astro turf infield of the track. As such, we will be running a long crossover track that will be two laps around the oval as well as a big Chicago-style layout planned for our Retro Class.
Make sure to RSVP on the Facebook event page for all the latest event updates. Qualifying will be run in the order of the points standings. If this is your first time or you are debuting a new truck, they will qualify last.
As a reminder, this is your final opportunity to be a part of the Bee Line Trucking Podium Pot that pays out the top 3 spots for the 2.6 Monster Truck Class this season. Over $500 has already been put up to be split among the podium finishers and Bee Line Trucking will then match all contributions made through the 5 rounds and will be awarded out as follows: 50% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, and 20% to 3rd. To be eligible for the Podium Pot, racers can contribute $10/event or a flat $50 prior to this event.
Finally, JConcepts, AMain Hobbies, EcoPower, and more have provided the series with some great raffle prizes to give away at each of our races this season. Racers will receive a raffle ticket for every entry and may purchase additional tickets in sets of 3 for $5 and can be bought throughout the day. The raffle will be held after freestyle and the event trophies have been given out.
