We continue our Racer Recap series with the 2.2 Class 2nd Overall in points as well as the winner of the 2.2 Class Fat Cat Customz Freestyle Championship: the one and only Chris Prestwood.

What got you into racing RC Monster Trucks?
“I’ve always loved driving the MT’s and our local MT track got me into racing. The points series was what really got my interest in making my truck all it can be and freestyle was my Jam! As I always say: “basher at heart”.
What did you think of the Points Series?
“I for sure enjoyed the series and can only hope we as a group can bring more people into this to make it an even bigger event for all ages to enjoy. All events have hiccups and those are learning curves that can only better the overall event.”
What was your biggest accomplishment this season?
“I would have to say keeping my rig on all 4 in the freestyle and dominating the freestyle 2.2 class trying to SEND IT higher and bigger at every event.”
What are you looking to improve for next year?
“Next year I’m going to try to calm my nerves as well as compete in the 2.6 class.”
Who would you say is your toughest competition?
“I would say my toughest competition was myself. My nerves would get the better of me on the track in race mode where I was making simple mistakes. But if I were to name a racer in my class it would for sure be Torey Heath.”
